What they are and how we use them
Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies, such as localStorage, also store information. This policy explains those used by Apogeo and your choices.
The website does not enable Google Analytics or optional embedded content without your permission. Closing the panel, browsing or scrolling does not mean acceptance. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from reading the website or contacting us.
Necessary: remembering your choice
apogeo-cookie-consent: first-party local storage managed by Apogeo. It records the notice version, accepted or rejected categories, date and expiry. It is valid for 180 days from saving a choice, whether you accept or reject. On expiry or a version change, we ask again. It is not a cookie sent with every server request.
apogeo-intro-v1: first-party session storage that remembers whether this tab has already shown the website intro. It expires with the tab session and is not used for tracking.
If your browser blocks persistent storage, we try to retain your choice for the session. If that is also blocked, it applies only to the current page. Expired local records no longer authorize services and can be deleted in your browser settings. CMS login and preview cookies are technical cookies for editors only; public browsing does not require them.
The private proposal portal uses two first-party technical cookies: apogeo-proposal-session, which maintains authorised access for up to 8 hours, and apogeo-proposal-csrf, which protects the access form against unauthorised requests and lasts up to 15 minutes. They are scoped to the proposal path. The session cookie is removed on logout. The portal does not load Google Analytics or marketing cookies. These durations describe browser cookies, not the retention of server records.
Analytics: Google Analytics
Provider: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. Purpose: to measure visits, pages and interactions to understand and improve use of this website. It loads only after the Analytics category is accepted. Our configuration disables Google signals and advertising personalization; there is no advertising category.
First-party domain cookies managed through Google Analytics: _ga, to distinguish browsers, and _ga_<identifier>, to maintain session state. They are configured for up to 180 days, limited to the remaining consent duration, without automatic renewal on each visit. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under its processing and transfer safeguards.
External content: Vimeo and Figma
This category allows embedded Vimeo videos and Figma prototypes to open on the website. Their players and frames do not load before permission. These providers receive connection data when content loads and may use storage or cookies under their own policies.
Vimeo loads with the privacy parameter dnt=1 to reduce tracking. Its documentation notes that security cookies may still be used: _cf_bm (30 minutes), _cfuvid (session), player_clearance (7 days) and cf_clearance (1 year). Availability depends on the provider and browser. Figma may use session, authentication and security cookies whose names and durations are set by that provider; see its policy below for the current inventory.
Direct video files and website images do not require this category. External scheduling and social links open other websites with their own policies. The permission stored by Apogeo controls only services loaded within our website.
Accepting, rejecting and withdrawing
The panel offers Accept all, Reject optional and Manage preferences. Analytics and External content can be chosen independently and start off. Reopen the panel with the permanent button or footer link.
Withdrawing analytics disables Google Analytics and removes accessible analytics cookies on our domain. Withdrawing an active permission reloads the page to stop libraries and content already loaded. Apogeo cannot delete cookies belonging to other domains; use browser settings to do so. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out previously.
Further information
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser privacy settings. Deleting your choice makes us ask again. Controller details and rights are explained in the privacy policy. If we add purposes that require permission, we will update the panel and request a new choice.
